Include your device model, operating-system version, app version, and a short description of what happened. If reporting a bug, include the steps that reproduce it. Please remove personal health details from screenshots or exports unless you intend to share them with support.

Getting started

Open the app, tap Get started, choose your preferences and continue to Start training. Importing history and connecting Apple Health are optional. You do not need a Codesplash account to log workouts.

Workouts and routines

Use Today → Start workout for an empty session, or choose a routine in Train. Add exercises, enter your weights and reps, and mark sets complete. Finish the session to save it in your history.

Apple Health and Apple Watch

Enable the relevant Apple Health options in Settings. You control the permissions granted to Codesplash Gym through Apple's Health settings. Data-dependent charts need source records before they can display useful trends.

The Watch app is a companion to the iPhone app. Keep the apps installed on a paired iPhone and Apple Watch, and open the phone app to make routines and workout state available to the Watch.

Nutrition and barcode lookup

Use Nutrition to log food, portions and water. Barcode lookup uses Open Food Facts and requires an internet connection for products that are not already cached. You can enter barcode digits manually or create a food when a product is unavailable.

Imports and exports

Supported workout CSV import currently accepts Fitbod exports. Strong and Hevy workout CSV imports are not currently supported. Fitbit Takeout archives and supported Garmin export files have separate import screens in Settings.

Export workout sets using Settings → Your data → Export all sets as CSV, or use Export JSON backup. These exports are not a promise of a complete, restorable backup of every app data type. Keep original files when importing history.

Local records and deletion

The app has no app-level iCloud synchronization. Existing records are local to the installation. Do not uninstall the app as a troubleshooting step if you want to keep those records.

Settings → Delete all workouts removes workouts, sets and records, while leaving exercises and aliases. Other records have their own available editing/deletion controls. Copies in Apple Health, exported files, device backups or third-party accounts may remain separately and require their own controls.
